Well I'll certainly give it a look but then Super you have to go and see Venus with Peter O'Toole ok. As for the music well operatic, classical, choir, its all that but the nationality is probably more important in classing it, seem Italian to me, I dunno, reminds me of this -

I knew I wouldn't like it and I was right. No wonder, if you are watching a movie with that attitude it is not surprising you won't like it. I watched movies before which I thought would be bad but they turned out fine. First of all: No bullets flying, not even a time travel device... but ok, I was prepared for some awesome scenery and big battles. Here are just a few things that came to my mind while watching: The "creatures" at the oracle were somewhat weird. One of them licking the oracle to make her speak was.....weird, too. When Leonidas meets the 300 and wanders off with them I couldn't help but wonder why they are trampeling down a wheat field?! Suddenly the Hunchback of Notre Dame appears. (The guy that betrays them and shows the Persians the secret path). He didn't toll any bells though. After that the giant rhino and the even bigger elephants didn't surprise me anymore. The Persian "god" would have looked cool with an extra pair of arms, though! The complete movie was shot indoors except two scenes or so... So far I have seen quite some awesome CGI effects in movies, but this one was quite terrible. The arriving persian ships looked like from a painting, very surreal. My last hope were the battle scenes. That hope was disappointed by having to think about the comic-like blood splatters in those scenes. I bet Quentin Tarantino was crying when he saw the movie. They should have let him have a go at it...or at least at the scenes involving blood. Just a few last words about the plot: I guess you get my point. There is actually nothing to say about that. Usually one could discuss things like honor, death, fighting for freedom and the blah alike for hours, but the way it was used in this movie is more comparable to: Some Guy: What is this? Rambo: A blue light. The Guy: What does it do? Rambo: It glows blue Thank you.
