Just for some who may not know, a very interesting thing about Elvis. He walked up to the gate of the white house, handed a letter to one of the guards and in 20 minutes time he was ushered to the oval office to see President Nixon. He was armed with a hand gun, but it didn't matter. It was almost as if time stood still. The President's schedule was put on hold for him. On that day Elvis received a certified membership to the alcohol, tobacco, and firearms devision of the government. He also received an official badge for it. Elvis was a very avid badge collector. Just goes to show you how much he was loved by so many, to be able to stand next to The President of the United States, strapped with a loaded pistol and no one be the slightest bit worried at all. Just a little something I wanted to share. ace
